IT Manager
Are you an IT Manager with experience using the INFOR accounting system? If that's you, plus you live in southern Connecticut (or willing to relocate), please read on!

Our client is an international company that has been well established in southernConnecticut for several decades. They are in need of an IT Manager who will be responsible for developing and implementing information technology initiatives that support the strategic objectives of the organization. This role with also establish and direct the policies and procedures for project management methodology and defining, testing, and installing the information technology initiatives based upon the user-defined business requirements. This position will also provide leadership to the IT Administrator and report directly to the CEO.


What you need for this position:

10+ years of IT project experience
Network or Windows certifications
Good communication skills with the ability to work well both independently and as a team
Excellent communication skills in both a written and verbal capacity
Bonus points for management experience!
BS in Computer Science or equivalent

What you'll be doing:

Responsible for the implementation and migration to INFOR accounting system
Ensure training for all INFOR users is provided and reviewed as necessary
Utilize technologies to improve business process.
Provides statistical analysis of sales and financial data from INFOR accounting system.
Using INFOR, improve and consolidate month end reporting requirements and processes, improve Inventory Control, create and maintain Cost Center Profit/Loss statements, create monthly/quarterly reports
Maintain an adequate level of knowledge of operating system and application software being used to provide high levels of support to users
Monitor and evaluate efficiency of software/hardware usage, providing items to be covered in training of users, making them more efficient
Provide documentation that defines upcoming needs of network, which would require purchase of additional hardware or software
Monitor and report licenses on applications on a regular basis to ensure compliance
Assist IT Administrator when necessary
